Typography
I chose Sora because it feels more modern and clean while having some unique characteristics. It is also a Google Font which was important to the client so that a variety of people could have access to the typeface.

Color Palette

I wanted to keep the blue from the original color palette, but I had to adjust it slightly to make it AA accessible. I then expanded the blues to allow for more depth. I wanted to keep the green in order to set the brand apart from the many many blue brands that are out there. However, I adjusted the green to have a more blue hue as opposed to the previous yellow hue to modernize it.
The two original brands were YouthCenter and CaseStream. Both are cloud-based case management software. YouthCenter is designed specifically for Juvenile Probation, Diversion, Detention, and Residential facilities. CaseStream is for domestic violence programs and shelter services.
The primary goal of this project was to combine two Case Management products under one name. The client wanted to move to the "CaseStream" name because it is not tied to one service line, allowing for expansion in other areas, such as: CaseStream Juvenile Justice, CaseStream Detention, CaseStream SafeGuard, CaseStream Shelter, etc.
The Before

The Messaging

To start the branding process I needed to go through brand discovery, performing research and meeting with the client to adjust existing messaging as well as develop new messaging that establishes the brand story as well as the key messages to support this story.
Based on this messaging, I continued to develop the brand identity and experience that would reflect the brand story.
The Final Logo

The Process
CaseStream is a Case Management system that is adaptable. It is composed of modules so that the customer can choose which features are most important for their work flow. I wanted to capture this idea of adaptable modules.

The way the modules are arranged makes the logo mark represent an abstract "C" for "CaseStream"

An abstract "S" can also be found in the logo mark

Brand Experience
The client attends many conferences and needed a booth designed that could easily be packed up small and shipped to the conference location

The client wanted the business cards rebranded and specified that one side of the card must be white in order to write notes on

CaseStream gives out a sheet that has more detailed information on the software at their conferences

With the combination of the two brands - Youth Center and CaseStream there is now more information so the client would like to shift from the one sheet to a booklet.

The Brand Experience
The CaseStream team attends conferences and sets up a booth to reach their target audience. At their booth they bring a backdrop and a stretch tablecloth. They wanted the display to clearly show people at a glance what their product is - Case Management Software.
At these conferences they have a one sheet they wanted designed for a takeaway that would further explain the software. Additionally, with the rebrand there was a need to redesign their business cards.
